Throughout her clinical career, Fatemeh has gained valuable experience treating patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions across various healthcare settings. She has more than five years of clinical experience in pelvic floor rehabilitation, acute care, and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, working with patients of different ages and functional levels. Her treatment approach emphasizes individualized assessment, evidence-based interventions, patient education, and active rehabilitation to help individuals regain function, reduce pain, and return to their daily activities with confidence.
Fatemeh has a particular interest in orthopedic rehabilitation, postoperative recovery, women’s health, and exercise-based rehabilitation. Her clinical experience in pelvic health provides her with a unique understanding of movement dysfunction, core stability, and functional recovery, allowing her to develop comprehensive rehabilitation programs that address the specific needs of each patient. She is passionate about combining clinical expertise with the latest scientific evidence to deliver patient-centred care that promotes long-term health and functional independence.
Alongside her clinical practice, Fatemeh remains actively involved in rehabilitation research. As a PhD candidate, she continues to explore innovative approaches to physiotherapy assessment and treatment while contributing to the advancement of evidence-based rehabilitation. Her research interests include digital health, telerehabilitation, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and strategies to improve patient access to effective physiotherapy services.
As a member of the RehabOttawa.ca team, Fatemeh contributes to the development and scientific review of evidence-based rehabilitation protocols, with particular interests in postoperative rehabilitation, women’s health, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and digital rehabilitation strategies. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, researchers, and healthcare professionals, she is committed to translating current scientific evidence into practical clinical resources that support both clinicians and patients.
